News: 1 critically injured after high-speed collision in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – One person is in critical condition following a high-speed crash in Kansas City early Sunday morning, reports KSHB.

The crash took place near the intersection of 31st Street and Broadway Boulevard at about 12:30 p.m.

Investigators say both a Ram pickup truck and a Mazda sedan were southbound at a high rate of speed when the Mazda clipped the Ram. Both vehicles then veered across the road  before colliding for the second time.

Both occupants of the Mazda were pulled from the vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital. The driver of the Ram was also hospitalized.
