SAC COUNTY, IA – A Shawnee woman died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 39 in Iowa on Monday morning.

According to KCAU, 54-year-old Jan Gentry was heading south on the highway when her vehicle skidded into the northbound lanes and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

Gentry suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. The driver of the northbound vehicle, 19-year-old Clay Roberts, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
