JOHNSON CO., MO – A Clinton man was injured when his vehicle swerved into a fence on MO-2 on Thursday morning.

According to a report by the MSHP, the crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. near the intersection with MO-2.

Troopers say 42-year-old William Armstrong lost control of his 2009 Chevrolet when he swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The vehicle then struck a roadside fence.

Armstrong suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. He sought his own medical treatment afterward.
