News: Woman airlifted after single-vehicle crash in Benton Co.

BENTON CO., MO – A woman was flown to the hospital following a rollover crash near Whitakerville on Friday morning, MSHP reports.

The incident occurred when 41-year-old Crystal Harris lost control of her 2016 Jeep near the intersection of McLaughlin Avenue and Route MM. The Jeep then went off the right side of the roadway, causing Harris to overcorrect, sending it off the left side. The vehicle overturned and hit a fence before coming to a stop.

Harris was extricated and rushed to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
