News: 3-vehicle collision on I-435 injures 1

KANSAS CITY, MO – A three-vehicle collision on I-435 Tuesday evening left a Kansas City man injured, MSHP reports.

The incident occurred at about 4:20 p.m. on the northbound side of the intestate just south of the I-35 interchange.

Troopers say two vehicles slowed for traffic when a 2009 Dodge Ram slammed into the rear of one, forcing it into the other vehicle.

A 22-year-old passenger in the vehicle that was hit first was taken to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries.
