News: Multi-vehicle crash on Route D leaves 1 seriously injured

CASS CO., MO – A major collision in Cass County this afternoon left a woman seriously injured.

According to the MSHP, the accident was reported at about 1:46 p.m. along Route D near the intersection with 195th Road.

Investigators say the driver of a northbound Chevrolet failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle while turning left, causing the two to collide.

The driver of the second vehicle, 57-year-old Katherine McCollom, was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
