News: Driver critically injured in stolen vehicle crash

KANSAS CITY, MO – Two people were seriously hurt in a crash after one driver ran a red light in southeast Kansas City this afternoon.

According to KMBC, the crash happened when the driver of a stolen GMC pickup ran the red light at 39th Street and Benton Boulevard at a high rate of speed and crashed into a Lincoln SUV.

The driver of the Lincoln was hospitalized in serious, but stable condition. The GMC’s driver was also hospitalized in critical condition.
