News: Lawrence woman hospitalized after crash on I-29 in NW Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A Kansas woman was taken to the hospital after a rear-end collision on I-29 this morning.

According to a report by MSHP, the incident happened near the exit to 64th Street shortly after 11 a.m.

Troopers say the driver of a 2003 Mitsubishi collided with the rear of a 2007 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.

The Mitsubishi’s driver, 59-year-old Luda Edwards, was taken to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries. The truck driver, an 81-year-old man was unhurt.
