News: 39-year-old man injured in single-vehicle crash on I-49 in Bates Co.

BATES CO., MO – A man from Nevada, Missouri was injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-49 in Bates County on Sunday, MSHP reports.

The incident happened just before 7 a.m. along the northbound lanes of the interstate, a few miles north of Rich Hill.

Investigators say 39-year-old Joshua Seitz lost control of his 2010 Chevrolet pickup ruck for unknown reasons, causing it to travel off the right side of the roadway and hit the guardrail.

Seitz suffered minor injuries in the crash, but refused medical treatment at the scene.
