News: 23-year-old man seriously injured in Camden County accident

SUNRISE BEACH, MO – A 23-year-old man from Olathe, KS sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Route MM early Sunday morning.

ABC 17 reports a driver failed to yield while attempting a left-hand turn and struck another vehicle on Route MM at Shawnee Bend One Dr. around 1:30 a.m.

Blake Hearn, the driver of the struck vehicle, was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for serious injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

It is unclear if the other driver was injured in the accident.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
