News: Multiple people injured in Kansas City intersection collision

KANSAS CITY, MO – Multiple people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision at West Longview Parkway and Raytown Rd on Sunday night.

According to FOX4, a Ford Mustang was traveling northbound and failed to yield when attempting to turn. The vehicle crashed into a southbound Chevrolet Impala around 7:49 p.m.

Police report the Chevrolet driver sustained serious injuries and the passengers in that vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries. All injured parties were transported to a local hospital.

The driver of the Ford refused medical treatment at the crash scene. Police suspect possible impairment was a cause of the crash and are investigating still.
