News: 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in multiple-vehicle crash

SMITHVILLE, MO – A 21-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on NB U.S. 169 on Tuesday night.

According to FOX4 News, Samuel Reffett was traveling north on U.S. 169 on a 2013 Honda motorcycle when he struck a 2016 Ford Explorer. Reffett was ejected from the bike. He struck two other vehicles, a 2007 Toyota Tacoma and a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. The fatal accident happened just north of Highway DD around 5:28 p.m.

Reffett was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.
