News: 65-year-old motorcyclist sustains serious injuries in US-50 crash

HOLDEN, MO – A 65-year-old Blue Springs motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on WB US-50 on Saturday evening.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Robert A. Elliott was traveling west on US-50 on a 2014 Harley Davidson when he lost control of the bike in a curve. The motorcycle hit a culvert, went airborne, struck a road sign, and finally overturned.

Elliott was transported to Research Medical Center for serious injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The motorcycle was totaled.
