News: Motorcycle overturns in Benton County crash, motorcyclist injured
WARSAW, MO – A 45-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to a local hospital for serious injuries after a crash on Macks Camp Avenue on Saturday night.
Corey W. Wheeler, of Lees Summit, was traveling east on Macks Camp Avenue on a 2014 Yamaha when he lost control of the bike, Missouri State Highway Patrol reports. He overcorrected causing the motorcycle to overturn at 25923 Macks Camp Avenue around 7:32 p.m.
Wheeler was not wearing a seat belt.
The motorcycle sustained minor damages.
