News: Two people injured in Saline County single-vehicle crash

SALINE COUNTY, MO – Two people injured in single-vehicle crash on eastbound I-70 at mile marker 83 on Sunday afternoon.

A 2007 GMC, driven by 47-year-old Fredi Casiano Calleja, was traveling east on I-70 when it lost a wheel, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The vehicle traveled off the road, hit a guardrail, overturned, and struck a tree around 1:55 p.m.

Casiana Callieja was transported to University Hospital for minor injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, 30-year-old Stephina Naploles, was transported to University Hospital for moderate injuries. Both people were wearing seat belts.

The GMC was totaled.
