News: Belton driver sustains injuries in WB I-470 accident

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – A 20-year-old Belton driver sustained injuries in a crash on WB I-470 on Tuesday evening.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Haley M. Lust was traveling west on I-270 in a 2011 Hyundai when she struck an animal. The impact caused the vehicle to crash at NE Colbern Rd. around 10:16 p.m.

Lust was transported to St. Luke’s East Hospital for minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Hyundai sustained moderate damages.
