INDEPENDENCE, MO – A three-vehicle crash, involving a semi and fuel spill, caused local authorities to close a section of WB I-70 on Tuesday night.

The semi spilled fuel over a quarter mile area due to a fuel tank rupture from the crash. Missouri Department of Transportation and local authorities are working to clean up the spill. It is unclear when the interstate will reopen.
