News: 51-year-old man, three injured in semi crash on NB I-635 ramp

KANSAS CITY, KS – A 51-year-old man was killed and three people injured in a semi crash on the NB I-635 ramp from EB I-70 on Thursday afternoon.

According to FOX4 News, a semi lost control in the curve of the exit ramp and struck a Chevrolet Silverado just before 5 p.m.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Dwyane Stout, was pronounced dead at the crash scene. A passenger in the Chevrolet and two occupants in the semi were transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.

Local authorities report the semi was on fire at some point during or after the crash.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
