News: 3 motorcycles crash on State Route 92 in Platte City, 4 injured

PLATTE CITY, MO – A crash involving three motorcycles on State Route 92 left four people injured on Monday morning.

According to KCTV5, three motorcycles were heading west on State Route 92 when they crashed in the roundabout at 45 Spur around 11:45 a.m.

A 39-year-old St. Joseph man was airlifted to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries, a 55-year-old St. Joseph man and 40-year-old St. Joseph man were transported to a local hospital for serious injuries, and a 53-year-old Kansas City man was treated at the crash scene for minor injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing. However, local authorities report speed might be a factor in the crash.
