News: 24-year-old man seriously injured in single-vehicle crash on HWY 116

PLATTSBURG, MO – A 24-year-old Leavenworth, KS man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on WB Highway 116 on Sunday night.

KTTN reports Warren Sullivan was traveling west on Highway 116 when he failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to travel off the road. It hit an embankment and overturned multiple times.

Sullivan was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt. Local authorities report he was transported to Liberty Hospital for serious injuries.

A two-year-old female passenger was also transported to Liberty Hospital. It is unclear if she sustained injuries in the crash.

The vehicle was totaled.
