News: Semi crash closes SB I-435 at I-70 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A semi crash which also involved another vehicle closed SB I-435 at I-70 early Thursday morning.

According to KSHB, a semi and another vehicle crashed around 2:40 a.m. A fire erupted at some point after the crash.

It is unclear if anyone was injured, but local authorities report there were no serious injuries.

All of SB I-435 was closed but some lanes have since reopened. Traffic is still backed up in the area. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes.
