News: 38-year-old Higginsville motorcyclist injured in Layfette County crash
LAYFETTE COUNTY, MO – A 38-year-old Higginsville man was injured in a motorcycle crash on Route E north of Route FF on Thursday night.
George Bortolini was traveling north on Route E on a 2000 Harley Davidson when he swerved to miss a raccoon, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. The motorcycle traveled off the road, hit an embankment, and overturned around 10 p.m.
Bortolini was transported to Layfette County Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. He was not wearing a safety belt.
The motorcycle sustained moderate damages.
