News: Stolen vehicle driver flees crash scene, 3 injured in crash
KANSAS CITY, MO – Three people were injured in a stolen-vehicle crash at the intersection of E 31st St. and Benton Blvd. early Tuesday morning.
According to KSHB, a dark green Chevrolet Silverado that matched a stolen-vehicle description was traveling east on E 31st St at high rates of speed. The driver ran a red light at Benton Blvd. and crashed into a black Ford F-150 that was traveling south around 2:47 a.m. Both vehicles crashed into a black iron fence at the intersection.
Three people in the Ford were transported to a local hospital. Two of the injured people are currently in critical condition.
The driver and passengers of the Chevrolet fled on foot. It is unclear if they have been apprehended yet.
