News: 52-year-old motorcyclist killed in Warrensburg semi crash

WARRENSBURG, MO – A 52-year-old Lee’s Summit motorcyclist was killed in a semi crash on NB MO-13 on Tuesday afternoon.

FOX4 News reports James Slavens was traveling north on MO-13 on a 1985 Honda motorcycle when he traveled into the path of a southbound semi. The fatal crash happened near SE 300 Rd. around 2:10 p.m.

Local authorities report Slavens was pronounced dead at the crash scene.

The semi sustained extensive damages, but the driver was not injured.
