News: Vehicle fire causes traffic delays on NB I-470 in Lee’s Summit

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – A vehicle fire blocked traffic and caused significant traffic delays on NB I-470 at Lakewood Blvd. (Exit 14) on Thursday morning.

According to FOX4 News, the vehicle fire blocked lanes on NB I-470 around 11 a.m. No one was injured and local authorities put out the fire.

Traffic was backed up from on the interstate between Strother Rd. and U.S. 40.

It is unclear what started the fire.
