News: Passenger injured when van hits I-35 guardrail in Kearney

KEARNEY, MO – A man was hospitalized yesterday after the van he was riding in struck a guardrail on I-35 near MO-33, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

The incident occurred at mile marker 27.6 at about 3 p.m. on June 14, when a northbound 2013 Ford van drifted off the left side of the roadway and hit a guardrail. The van spun around and re-entered the roadway before coming to a rest.

Kearney EMS transported the van’s 33-year-old passenger to Liberty Hospital with minor injuries. The driver was not hurt.
