News: Teen driver injured in single-car crash in Knob Noster

KNOB NOSTER, MO – A 19-year-old was seriously injured last night when he crashed his Toyota Prius on a rural highway in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Ty Hart was southbound on Highway FF ahead of 700th Road shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday when he lost control in a curve. His 2009 Toyota Prius ran off the left side of the road, went airborne, and crashed into an embankment.

Emergency responders rushed Hart to Western Missouri Medical Center with serious injuries. His current condition is unknown.

The crash totaled the Prius.
