News: 48-year-old man killed in motorcycle collision on US-50
JOHNSON CO., MO – One man was killed and another was hospitalized following a crash near Warrensburg on Thursday night.
According to a report by the MSHP, the crash happened when the driver of a 2012 Honda motorcycle rear-ended a Nissan SUV in the westbound lanes of the freeway near NE 501 Road.
The motorcycle’s driver, a 48-year-old Sedalia man, was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 41-year-old woman, was also hospitalized with moderate injuries.
No one in the Nissan was injured in the crash.
