News: Driver injured in three-car pile-up on I-35
KANSAS CITY, MO – A driver was hospitalized after a three car pile-up that caused significant delays on southbound I-35 Saturday night, WSHB reports.
The three-car crash occurred near Johnson Drive around 9:40 p.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado broke down in the left lane.
Shortly after the Silverado was disabled in the road it was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta that was in turn struck by a Nissan Altima.
The unidentified driver of the Silverado was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
Crews were able to clear the scene and restore the normal flow of traffic to four closed lanes after just over an hour.
