News Update: Man injured in May scooter accident dies

KANSAS CITY, MO – A victim of a hit-and-run in late May has been pronounced dead this Sunday, according to Fox4KC.

The deceased, 60-year-old Steven Khoury, was initially injured in a crash at 34th Street and Prospect Avenue.

According to Kansas City Police, Khoury was travelling southbound on Prospect on a red scooter when he was struck by a black SUV.

Responders transported Khoury to the hospital where his condition was declared critical.

This investigation is currently ongoing.
