News: “Cheer” star Maddy Brum hit by car in downtown Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorist struck Maddy Brum, of the Netflix series “Cheer”, as she was crossing a street in Kansas City this week, reports TMZ.

According to police, the incident occurred at the intersection of 10th and Broadway around 3:30 Monday afternoon.

A driver made a turn and struck Brum in the crosswalk. Brum says that the vehicle was driving an estimated 20-30 miles per hour.

Brum was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
