News: Two women hospitalized in crash on I-65

BENTON COUNTY, MO  – A read-end collision on Highway 65 sent two women to the hospital on Friday Morning.

Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an incident at 9:10 a.m. where a Chevrolet Suburban had been struck by a Honda CRV. The Suburban was slowing to turn right when the CRV crashed into the read of the vehicle.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to Bothwell Regional Medical Center.

36-year-old Sarah Edwards, the driver of the CRV, sustained serious injuries. The driver of the Suburban, 56-year-old Dorothy Day, was moderately injured.
