News: Crash causes rollover, injuries for two near Sweet Springs

SALINE COUNTY, MO – Two people including a child were injured after a wrong-way driver crashed into their vehicle near Sweet Springs on Wednesday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred close to 6:54 p.m. when the driver of a southbound Chevrolet 1500 drifted into the oncoming lane and struck a Polaris XR.

The driver of the Polaris, 36-year-old Jessecca Haase of Sedalia, and a 9-year-old passenger, were injured in the accident.

Haase was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital where she was treated for moderate injuries. The juvenile sustained minor injuries and treatment was refused.

No other injuries were reported.
