LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – A rollover crash resulting from a blown tire resulted in the death of one man near Bates City on Friday afternoon.

WIBW reports that the accident took place at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Interstate 70 when an eastbound F-250 had a blowout.

The vehicle then rolled over, ejecting the driver, 57-year-old Holton resident Gary Fortner.
