News: Head-on crash seriously injures two drivers in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle crash seriously injured two, including one teenager, on O’Bannon Road in Cass County Monday afternoon.

The MSHP reports the crash occurred near 5:40 p.m. when a 17-year-old female turned her Chevrolet onto the roadway and was struck by another Chevrolet driven by 33-year-old Jacob Granger.

Granger was reportedly travelling in the wrong lane on O’Bannon Road when he struck the other vehicle.

Both drivers were airlifted from the scene of the crash. The unnamed teen was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital while Granger was transported to St Lukes on The Plaza. Both suffered serious injuries.
