News: Teen on bicycle in serious condition after head-on crash on Compton Ave

KANSAS CITY, MO – A wreck in the Northland hospitalized a teenager on a bicycle on Compton Avenue, Fox4 KC reports.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:47 p.m., when a driver made a blind turn near Bellaire Avenue.

The teen was reportedly heading against the flow of traffic when he was struck head-on by the driver’s Honda Accord.
The teen was thrown from the bike and taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.
