News: Over a dozen injured, including teens, in Cole County tour bus crash
COLE COUNTY, MO – A tour bus crash injured 14 occupants, including several teenagers, when the vehicle went off road and crashed into a house early Thursday morning.
The MSHP reports that the accident occurred at close to 2:36 a.m. when an eastbound Prevost H3 Coach bus ran off the left hand side of the road near Farm View Road.
The bus continued through the median, striking several ditches and then a house before coming to a stop.
The occupants, primarily teenagers from Jefferson City and Russellville, were treated at St. Mary’s Hospital or Capital Region Hospital. All injuries are reported to have been minor.
The driver was not listed among the injured.
