News: Motorcyclist seriously injured on I-49, rough roadway suspected cause

BATES COUNTY, MO – A 79-year-old man was seriously injured on Interstate 49 after he crashed his motorcycle on Wednesday morning, according to the MSHP.

The motorcyclist, Arthur Roster or Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, reportedly lost control of his Harley Davidson after crossing an uneven patch of roadway. He was thrown from the vehicle into the median.

Roster was flown to Research Medical Center with serious injuries. He was reportedly wearing a helmet.

The vehicle was filed as a total loss.
