News: Three injured when driver avoids deer, strikes parked car in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – Three people were hurt in a crash on MO-350 when one vehicle struck a parked car in Jackson County Wednesday morning.

According to the MSHP, the crash occurred at approximately 11:09 p.m. near Colbern Road when an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu attempted to evade a deer, striking a parked Chevrolet HHR.

The driver of the Malibu, 32-year-old Bryston Washington, and passengers 36-year-old Krystal King and 32-year-old Melissa Abbott were all taken to Saint Joseph Medical Center with minor injuries.

The HHR was recorded as totaled in the wreck.
