News: Fall from truck results in one death in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A man was killed after falling out of the bed of a pickup truck Thursday morning in Johnson County.

The St. Joseph Post reports that 54-year-old Burnie Jordan of Waverly was riding in the bed of an F150 heading south on MO 130 when he fell out near SE 650.

Jordan was taken by air to Research Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the pickup, 40-year-old Robert E. Long of Kansas City, was uninjured.
