News: Pedestrian seriously hurt in crash near Warrensburg
JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A 60-year-old pedestrian from Holden was seriously injured after he was struck by a car on US Highway 50 Thursday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at approximately 11:53 p.m. when a Ford driven by 30-year-old Colt Weddle of Cole Camp struck the pedestrian, Steven Peterson, as he was walking in a traffic lane on Highway 50.
Responders took Peterson to Research Hospital with serious injuries.
Weddle was reportedly uninjured in the crash.
