News: Crash results in death of one motorcyclist on Highway 71
KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a car on 71 Highway on Sunday night, FOX4 KC reports.
The accident reportedly took place near Red Bridge Road at approximately 7:22 p.m. when the rider of a Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a Pontiac Vibe that had abruptly enter their lane.
The impact forced the rider off the highway, where they struck and exit sign and were thrown from the bike.
The motorcyclist was critically injured and responders transported them to the hospital, where they were later declared to have died of their injuries.
No other injuries are reported in the accident.
