News: Bicyclist hospitalized with critical injuries after car crash near Loose Park
KANSAS CITY, MO – A bicyclist was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being rear-ended by a car in the South Plaza area on Sunday, reports the Kansas City Star.
The crash took place close to 11:37 a.m. near the intersection of Wornall Road and 51st Street when a Toyota Scion struck a bicyclist from behind while traveling northbound on Wornall.
The bicyclist landed on the hood and windshield area of the car after being thrown from their bike.
The Toyota’s driver was un harmed. They gave a statement at the scene saying that they could not see the bicyclist. No charges were reported.
