News: Woman injured after rear-end collision while stopped in Howell County

HOWELL COUNTY, MO – A driver was hurt after being struck by another vehicle while their vehicle was stopped on US 160 Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place close to 8:00 a.m. west of West Plains when a Ford Ranger driven by a 16-year-old male struck a stopped Kia Forte.

The driver of the Forte, 65-year-old Cherie L. Hedrick of Caulfield, was hospitalized at Ozarks Health Care where she was treated for minor injuries.

No one else was reportedly injured in the accident.
