News: Pedestrian hit-and-run victim dies weeks after being run over in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A man has died from injuries suffered in a hit-and-run accident that took place in late July, reports KCTV5.

The incident occurred on July 30th in a parking lot located on Hickman Mills Drive near Longview Road where a man had been on the ground when he was struck and run over by a Black Chevy Pickup truck.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries, which he succumbed to in the hospital more than two weeks later.

The female driver of the truck reportedly stayed at the scene for some time before driving away without providing any identifying information. She remains at large.
