News: 77-year-old man dead after rollover crash near Warrensburg

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – One man was killed and another was seriously wounded in a rollover crash in Johnson County Tuesday evening.

According to the MSHP, the crash occurred close to 5:20 p.m. on Missouri 13 at Veteran’s Road when a southbound Ford attempted to take a turn without yielding to an oncoming Jeep. The Jeep, driven by 77-year-old James Kissick of Warsaw, struck the Ford driven by 21-year-old Emily Adams of Warrensburg.

The Jeep overturned in the collision.

Kissick and his passenger 74-year-old Linda Kissick also of Warsaw were both taken by Life Flight to Truman Medical Center.

James later died of his injuries. Linda was seriously injured.

No other injuries are reported in the accident.
