News: Three injured in vehicle that was evading police in St. Joseph

BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO – Three people were hurt after colliding with several vehicles while fleeing from police in St. Joseph on Sunday morning.

According to the MSHP, the incident took place close to 10:29 p.m. at 5600 Block Lake Front Lane and began when 37-year-old Theodore L. Marti fled police in a Chevrolet Silverado and struck a parked Ford Five Hundred.

Marti then reversed from the initial collision to strike a Ford Explorer.

Marti and two passengers in his vehicle were taken to Mosaic Life Care with moderate injuries.

No other injuries are reported in the crash.
