News: Local teacher killed while riding bicycle in hit-and-run in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A hit-and-run crash killed a man riding his bicycle in Kansas City on Saturday morning, reports The Kansas City Star.

The crash occurred close to 6:17 a.m. at the intersection of View High Drive and Longview road when what is suspected to be a white Acura MDX travelling south struck a bicyclist heading the same direction.

The victim has been identified as Charles Crinier, a teacher and father of ten.

Police are still searching for the vehicle involved, which is described as possibly having damage to the grill and right front passenger side.
