News: Horse and buggy crash hospitalizes three children, two adults in Holden
HOLDEN, MO – Five people including three children were hospitalized after a man crashed his vehicle into a horse and buggy in Holden on Saturday afternoon.
FOX 4 KC reports that the accident happened close to 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of US 58 Highway and Southwest 1001 Road when the driver of a motor vehicle rear-ended the horse and buggy.
Two girls ages 5 and 7 were critically injured in the accident, and were flown to area hospitals. Hospitalization was required for a 3-year-old girl and two adults in the buggy, but the severity of their injuries is not disclosed.
The driver of the motor vehicle refused treatment.
