News: Four-vehicle pile-up on I-35 results in minor injuries for one driver
CLAY COUNTY, MO – A four-vehicle chain-reaction accident on the entrance ramp to Interstate 35 sent one woman to the hospital on Wednesday.
The MSHP reports the incident took place close to 5:29 p.m. on the Southbound 29 ramp when a Freightliner truck struck the rear of a Ford F150 that had slowed to match traffic. The Ford was then forced forward to strike a Mitsubishi Lancer which in turn crashed into a Dodge Durango.
The injury victim was identified as 39-year-old Blanca A. Garcia-Torres of Kansas City, who was driving the Dodge Durango. She was transported to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries.
No other injuries are reported in this accident.
